We update the sales tax rates and GEO data in our database on a monthly basis from each state's tax authorities
What data is included in the Sales Tax data?
Our data includes sales tax rates for all local sales tax jurisdictions at state, county, city, and district levels, broken down by 5-digit ZIP code. The data also includes useful GEO data including Latitude, Longitude, FIPS, Area Code, Time Zone and much more.
How will I receive the sales tax database?
You will create an account during the purchase process and be able to immediately login and download your data upon purchase. You can login and access the data at any time from any browser.
If you sign up for a subscription with monthly updates, you will receive an email each month when updated data is available for download.
Can I use this data to calculate sales taxes for my business and SaaS applications?
Our database includes all local and state sales tax broken down by ZIP code. Our data is compatible with Internet applications and SaaS services. It’s important to know that ZIP codes aren't always aligned perfectly with municipal or county boundaries. Especially in states with complicated local and special taxation districts. Various portions of a zip code can actually be in multiple jurisdictions. We strongly encourage that you do your own due diligence in verifying all taxation issues with the relevant local taxing jurisdictions.
